For Contractors: As part of your Plan’s IRS 5500 filing each year, a Summary Annual Report (SAR) is required to be distributed to plan participants for review. The primary purpose of the SAR is to inform participants and beneficiaries of the plan’s financial condition. It is a brief version of the information contained in the Form 5500 filed by the plan.

This is a reminder that your 401(k) Plan offers a default investment option for anyone who does not affirmatively elect their own investment options. No action is required if you have a defaulted investment election unless you wish to make a change.
