What do I need to do after I submitted my resume or applied for a job?

What is the job placement process?
Panther remains abreast of job opportunities in all areas we service – both immediate and future hiring needs. If your skills and interests fit the types of positions we place, we’ll invite you to go through different screening steps, including a thorough interview. This information helps us better match you to companies that seek your skills and background, and opportunities that fit your career goals. Once we find an assignment for you, we’ll make certain you’re thoroughly prepared for success.
Can I search for jobs myself?

Yes, right from the Panther website. Here you’ll also be able to receive the latest job opportunities available, whether right in your community or across the nation.

Does The Panther Group offer benefits?

Yes. In fact, The Panther Group offers most associates the opportunity to earn some of the most comprehensive benefits in the industry, including health benefits, training and the opportunity to earn paid holidays and referral bonuses. Benefits may vary by location, so please speak to your Panther recruiter to confirm your eligibility for our benefits program.

Do I get paid vacation days, holidays or sick days? If so, how many?

This can vary based on assignment. Please discuss this with your Panther recruiter directly.

Who do I contact if I am going to be late/absent for the day?

We ask that as soon as you are aware of your tardiness/absence you notify us immediately. Please call your recruiter so they can let the client know and we can manage the process in a professional manner.

If the client site is closed due to a holiday, do I get paid for it?

Please discuss these situations directly with your Panther recruiter or our customer support team.

Is there a cost for being placed with The Panther Group?

No. The Panther Group works on your behalf to place you with some of the world’s most admired companies free of charge.

How often do we get paid?

Weekly.

How many direct deposit accounts can I have?

We allow our consultants and internal associates to have up to two accounts listed on their direct deposit.

How can I change my withholding on my W-4?

You can change your withholding at any time by reaching out to the Payroll Department.

How do I access copies of my pay stubs?

From our website, go to the bottom of the page and click on the link which states Contractor Paystubs.

Enter your User Name and Password and then click the login button. (Which we will send you once your assignment starts).
Click My Check Stubs.
View your check stub information.

 

Do I get paid as soon as I am hired or once the project starts?

Once the project starts.

Am I getting paid for testing and submitting paperwork?

No, you will start to get paid the moment you arrive on-site to start your new project at the client site.

Who can I speak to about the length of my contract?

Please contact your Panther recruiter, and they will guide you.

Why did I not receive an offer letter?

Your employment agreement is your official offer letter.

I don’t see my pay included in my employment agreement? Why is this?

The employment agreement is a standard agreement that Panther uses for all of our consultants.

How is my pay determined?

Pay is determined based on the job responsibilities

How do I track my time?

Our Panther team is glad to assist you with this process. Please contact your recruiter or Payroll at any time for assistance. Instructions on this process should be included with your onboarding paperwork as well.

If I am traveling, who pays for my food expenses?

This can vary based on assignment. Please discuss this with your Panther recruiter directly.

Does The Panther Group continue to support me after I start a job?

Yes, we will proactively check in with you frequently to see how your assignment is going. You can also reach out to us at any time.

How does The Panther Group protect my personal information?

The Panther Group cares about your privacy and goes to great lengths to ensure confidentiality. The Panther Group is a security-cleared facility by the Department of Homeland Security. I am currently working and concerned about confidentiality in my job search, how is this protected?

We do not release any of your information, or submit a resume to any of our clients, until we have spoken with you, reviewed the job responsibilities of the client, and been assured that you are okay with us submitting your resume.

How should I prepare for my first appointment/interview with a Panther Group representative?

Dress professionally and bring extra copies of your resume. Please arrive ten or fifteen minutes before your appointment and be prepared to share your interests and some of your success stories.

Am I an employee of the company I am working at?

No, you are an employee of The Panther Group.

When will I receive my W-2?

In accordance with IRS regulations, all W-2’s are sent out by January 31 of the following year.

What do I do when I finish an assignment?

Connect with your recruiter so we can start working on a new position for you right away.

Do I need to send you any information if I am relocating?

Yes, we need to keep an updated profile on file, especially for confidential documents, such as tax statements. Email all change of address info to your recruiter or reach out to Payroll.
